Robert Morris would bring drama into the last game of the regular season. RMU would need a win or a tie to move into CHE Playoffs.

Hosting IUP, the game was more of a win and get in scenario.

IUP would strike first after a 0-0 First period. RMU's Jordan Gayso would get his first of THREE goals in the second period. Teams would skate to a 1-1 tie after 2 periods.

The third period would find a bit of EVERYTHING for players and fans.....

Jordan Gayso would add his second of the night on the PP.

Cody Passilla after a great play would snipe one past IUP's goaltender to give RMU the 3-1 lead. IUP would answer back to make it a 3-2 game.

After a hit near the IUP Bench Matt Simkovic was pulled onto the bench by IUP and penalties would be flying....

After a few minutes, RMU would be on a 5 minute powerplay as IUPs #32 Jimmy Martin was DQed for fighting.

RMU could not capitalize on the 5 minute PP, but with 10 seconds left Jordan Gayso would outwork IUP to net his third of the game.

With Hats Flying, and cheers of GAYSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ringing in arena, RMU was headed to playoffs!

Goalie Russ Mower would get the win saving 21 shots.

RMU would put a season high 51 shots on IUP:

Assist for RMU: Kevin Kocak, Ryan Dickson, Taylor Maxwell (2), Ian McLean, and Jordan Smith.

RMU will open up the playoffs against the #1 seed CAL U.

All 3 games against CAL U would end up in OT with Cal winning 2 of the 3.
